Esmeralda Colombo
Esmeralda holds a PhD in International Climate Law and Policy from the University of Bergen, Norway. Previously, she was a Fulbright-Schuman Postdoctoral Fellow on climate risk at UC Berkeley and worked as a consultant with national and international organizations, including the European Commission. Her research interests span climate-related financial risk, renewable energy technology, as well as climate and energy justice. She received her Masters in laws from Columbia University and the College of Europe, her J.D. from the Catholic University of Milan and a postgraduate certificate on clean energy finance from Yale University. She is admitted to the bar in Italy and New York State and is fluent in Italian, English, Spanish, French, and Norwegian.
